Sensors
Application:
Intrinsically safe level and temperature sensor type ICPiT-1.* is intended to supervise the level and temperature of devices components as:
The temperature and level sensors type ICPiT-1.* meet the requirements of Directive ATEX (2014/34/UE) of European Parliament and Council regarding rapprochement of legislation of European member states, for protective devices and systems used in areas in danger of explosion. It also meets the Polish legislation; the Ordinance of the Minister for the Development dated 06 Jun. 2016 (Dz. U. Nr 2016 poz. 817) for essential requirements for protective devices and systems used in areas in danger of explosion.
Intrinsically safe construction of sensors allows to use them in excavations in methane and non-methane mines, in spaces marked „a”, „b” or „c” of methane explosion danger and in spaces classified as A or B of coal dust explosion danger.
Intrinsically safe level and temperature sensor is available in three sizes of the terminal cover and mounting flange.
The version with an enlarged terminal cover is ideal for applications needing more space, eg. for installation of the end element.
Depending on the customer specifications, the sensor can be made with a protecting tube of the float set or without it.
